Pelléas et Mélisande, 1902, is Claude Debussy’s only opera, based on the symbolist play by Maurice Maeterlinck. The Hungarian State Opera commissioned a staging of the opera by Hotel Pro Forma for their new stage in Budapest in 2022.

I KRYDSET FÅR DE NY SOFA is based on excerpts from Helle Helle’s critically acclaimed novel ‘de’. Staged as a monologue, a female actress moves around in a very simple scenography, consisting of 50 LED light bars, 3 m. high. The performance is a sensuous production, created as a memory machine of images of light, video, music and sound images.
AMDUAT. AN OXYGEN MACHINE
AMDUAT. An oxygen machine is a very visual performance by Hotel Pro Forma for which Marie Dahl co-directed as well as designed and created 29 individual masks. Making the masks was a huge work, done in many stages. The masks are made of thermoplastic, Worbla, shaped over sculpted forms.
