I KRYDSET FÅR DE NY SOFA is based on excerpts from Helle Helle’s critically acclaimed novel ‘de’. Staged as a monologue, a female actress moves around in a scenography, consisting of 50 LED light bars, 3 m. high. The performance is a sensuous production, created as a memory machine of images of light, video, music and sound images.
As part of making a memory machine, AI and machine learning plays a big role in the creation of videos and light. The special LED bars are developed in close collaboration with Vertigo, who produced the specific design. The bars have two different sides of LED light and two different sides of black material, and are able to rotate clock- as well as anti-clock wise, together or individually.
A sound composition of real sounds will create the auditive side of the work of remembrance.
